Seattle: Aquarium

October, 2015: Here are very little bits of our visit to the Seattle Aquarium. As a photography newbie, I still get amazed by the things that I capture. Taking these pictures was not easy because I had to gently battle with little children to get a spot to get a good picture. I had to give away numerous helpless smiles to parents who were trying to convince their kids there's more to see in the other room...most of them were successful.

This set is one of my favorites. It shows the delicate details of these small creatures that add beauty to this planet. The Seattle Aquarium is probably my favorite aquarium since they do not house huge sea creatures. It being in Seattle is probably a factor too. ;)

Seattle: Skyline

October, 2015
Day: The day shot was taken during our Argosy Cruises tour around Puget Sound. The skyline reminded me of Chicago’s skyline because of its similar waterfront location. There was no blackfish sighting that day but seals came out to say hi to us tourists.

Night: The first time I drove by Alki Beach was in 2009 when I could only take mental pictures of Seattle’s skyline during the night. It took me a while to figure out what in the world I was doing with my camera (on manual) until I could finally say, “alright we can go now.” I’m pretty damn proud of this picture. :)

Seattle: Space Needle

October, 2015: Let’s start one of Seattle’s well-known landmarks, the Space Needle. I fell in love with this city the moment my dad drove us around the city the first time my sister and I flew there back in 2009. The vibe was very chill and the people? They’re really nice up there.

Tip: Get the Seattle City Pass when exploring this city and get to go up the Space Needle twice in 24 hours at a great discount! It’ll also give you great views of the city during the day and at night.
