January, 2016: A couple of weeks before our trip, our airline cancelled our flight and offered us a different flight that departs from the airport 1-2 hours farther than the original terminal. The boat ride to and from the island was quick however, the drive was pretty scenic. It made me feel nostalgic about road trips my cousins and I would take with our relatives. Now that we're older, we are now tasked with planning our own vacations--not that it bothers me. I love being in control. ;)
