January, 2016: Green Lagoon was our first stop in the island tour. After putting our aqua shoes, goggles and snorkels on, we took the plunge. The water was clear and was warm in some areas and cold in some. I cannot remember the explanation why it was but I thought it was pretty cool.
My best friend and I brought our own snorkeling gear because we were a little concerned about how hygienic it is to rent out snorkels. I bought mine from less than $20 here. Our tour guide's name is Charlie and he has abs (yes, I had to point that out). He is on Facebook and he is about to buy his own tour boat because he is that passionate about his job. He's smart and he inspires me to reach for my dreams in some way.
